2018 SEA-DOO ADVENTURE; Marina Portorož – Grado (Italija)

Together with organizer H2O Center d.o.o. and the owners of the Sea-Doo water scooters we headed for 50 nautical miles a long way from Slovenia to Italy - Sea-Doo Adventure.
This is an event that is intended for all owners of Sea-Doo water scooters who want to use their PWC a bit differently - for "adventure" travel. Sea-Doo Adventure is a social gathering with a larger group of people who together sail and discover new locations and simply enjoy their PWC.
We gathered at 9.00 in the morning, to put all the units in the sea first, explain all the rules of navigation and route to all the participants, photograph the whole event and head for Italy.
Beside the water scooters, we had two accompanying ribs - 2018 Zodiac N-ZO 680 RS with outboard engine EVINRUDE G2 250 KM and Led GS 590 with outboard engine EVIRNUDE G2 150 KM, intended for journalists, photographers and cameramen and for storing everything needed for such a long way, such as additional fuel, lifejackets, water, equipment for repairing water scooters, etc.
For the event you had to register ONLINE. The response was excellent, but we had to limit the number of participants to 15 water scooters and a maximum of 25 people for safety and ease of organization. 10 Sea-Doo water scooters, 1 Yamaha and overall 30 people were at this event, including the journalists of the VRELE GUME magazine from Serbia.
The route was a 50 nautical mile long and it took us from Marina Portorož to Trieste, where the Italian police welcomed us and explain the rules of navigation on the Italian waters and escorted us to the Miramare castle.
From the city of Miramare, we went on our own journey all the way to Grado Lagoon through the Primero Channel to the Morer Canal, where we stopped at the restaurant L'Approdo Ristorante Bar for lunch and stayed for almost 2 hours. Lunch was more than excellent, as they served us with freshly caught and homemade fish and seafood.
After lunch, we headed for Slovenia to Marina Portorož, where we arrived around 18.00 and concluded a pleasant gathering.
We are really sharing the SeaDoo community what can be proven by the fact that besides Slovenians there were also participants from Italy, Croatia and Serbia. Our goal is to make this event traditional with more and more participants involved every year.
